Donation Drive to Benefit Equine Louisiana Flood Victims

As many of you are aware, Baton Rouge and nearby parishes experienced unprecedented and unpredicted flooding starting August 11, 2016. With little to no warning to evacuate, a large numbers of animals, including horses, were left on their own in very dangerous conditions.   Animals that survived are in desperate need of medical attention and food. All Points Equine LLC is sponsoring a donation drive. We will match the first $150 in donations to one of the following charities. All participants will be eligible in a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. Just send us a copy of your receipt or a screen shot showing your participation and you are in! The drive will run until September 16. The winner will be picked on September 19.  Don’t forget to tell your friends! Every little bit helps!

Approved Charities for the Drive:

  1. LA State Animal Response Team: This group is aiding in rescue, emergency first aid, transportation, and relocation of all animals in the disaster area.
  2. AAEP Foundation: This organization is providing financial support for veterinary care of stranded and rescued horses.
  3. Visit the LAVOAD website to donate Feed, Pet Food, and Supplies. Please email flooddonations2016@gmail.com if you would like to donate supplies directly to an organization.
  • *Money donations are preferable do to the large amount of man power it takes to sort and distribute item donations as they arrive, especially if unexpected.

Louisiana Flood Victims

Numerous animal shelters have been hit hard by the flood and are now overwhelmed and under prepared. Many have Amazon Wish Lists that can be accessed through this link for GlobalAnimal.org

We hope to see everyone at our education event and wish everyone a safe and wonderful fall riding season!  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at info@allpointsequine.com or call us at 610.351.1404
